This post is an introduction of sorts.

It has been about a year since I left my pastoral to start an organization focusing on conversations around racism, inclusion and equity. Most conversations become heated debates that make listening to each other difficult. The guilt, fear, anger and shame make beginning conversations challenging or worst - impossible to be part of the solution.

It seems to be getting worst.

Wanting to jump into this work was all I wanted to do. However, I found that building a business is more than getting to the work. It required building an infrastructure that would outlast me. Over the course of this year, I found myself clarifying my vision, structuring my mission and creating core values that would bring lasting value.

These core values will be the focus of my first month of posts, they are:

Clarity, Candor, Collaboration and Celebration.
